Ibrahim's research stems from the claim that theories of revolution have largely undermined the role of counter-revolution in revolutionary processes. Asma's PhD investigated the conditions under which domestic social movement organisations can obtain favourable policy concessions from the state. Her work focused on recent episodes of contention in Morocco relating to the field of violence against women.
